Micaela has over 22 years of performance experience as a soloist, chamber musician, rock band, and an orchestral musician as a section violist and principal. With diverse performance experience, she is able to provide excellent service with any level of music.

Education:

Bachelors in Viola Performance, studying with Jeffrey Irvine, Lynne Ramsey, Cavani Quartet, and Peter Salaf. 


Ms. Murphy has performed and collaborated with famous musicians and groups such as Ill Divo (from Italy), the Cavani Quartet, Frank Cohen (former principal clarinet of The Cleveland Orchestra, Vera Holczer-Waroquet , Carl Topilow, and The George Martins to name a few. She has also performed in special prestigious locations such as Severance Hall, The Music Box CLE, Playhouse Square, and Kauffman Center in Kansas City.

Her orchestral experience includes being Principal Viola of the Suburban Symphony Orchestra, section violist with Snowbelt Symphony, YADO, and sub list for the Akron Symphony Orchestra.
